Enjoy!!!!
I was contacted by a nice lady in response to one of my dress postings on etsy. I thought she was going for the Madison Not-So Pillowcase dress...
She saw the fabric and wanted to know if I could create a valance for her. Upon further inspection of the pictures she sent me, I finally decided that she needed a brown background with a pink print. She approved the choice of fabric I made. I received it in this afternoon, and within a matter of an hour or so I made my valance. It's fairly simple!!! It is a little awkward because you're working with so much fabric, but it turned out VERY well!!!

And I found SOOOOOOOO many ribbons for 50% off!!! I was in heaven! AHHHHHH!!!!
When I came home yesterday, I found that my tulle order had come in. I wonder if some of the women on etsy know how CHEAP I find this stuff for...I see a lot of "imported tulle" in the materials section, but I really wonder if it's the same as what I use. It looks like it.
I also am waiting for a fabric order to come in so I can start on a valance for a customer. I'm excited to make it happen!!!! She's excited to receive it! I will post pictures as soon as I complete it.
Oh. I'm starting to make the Halloween tutu leggings and Christmasy stuff! I'll keep everyone posted!!!

Yesterday found me and the ♥girl♥ in town to shop at many stores!!! WOW! There was such a selection at every store. But, only a few things really spoke to me. I'm still waiting on a delivery from ebay, so I wanted to go light on the purchasing of new material!
I found some totally CUTE giraffe and zebra fabric! I can't wait to work with it.
I'll keep you all posted on what I make!!! See you soon.

I never knew what I was going to be in store for once I heard the words, "You're going to have a girl!" But once she arrived, I fell in love with a cute little dress known as "the pillowcase dress!" Being a creative person, I decided that I needed to learn how to make these darling little dresses.
I set forth to find the right materials to create some really cute dresses. And I succeeded in my search. The first few dresses I made were a little sketchy (I was in the learning stages!!!) but I've since mastered a very CUTE and easy design that really flatters a lot of little girlies!Well, my Teenie looks awfully cute in her little dresses, but I wanted to share my creativity with those around me. So, I was in luck one afternoon as I was perusing Missy T's in a neighboring town and struck up a conversation with the owner. She stated that she wanted to start a baby room that offered kids' clothing. We talked about pillowcase dresses, and she's pushed my creativity into overdrive!!!
I look forward to continuing to create little masterpieces and I hope that you will enjoy my work as well.
